I Know, it's almost been a month since we all celebrated Labor Day. With serving in Young Women's, working full time, and feeding a house full I have limited free time. (although I have been reading Stephanie Meyer books lately) But I've been really anxious to read up on everyones' blogs and then I decided to make time to FINALLY add to my own.
Labor Day weekend was great. First of all, it was an extra day off from medical billing and hair. Second, we had great weather and Kelly and Andrew were with us. (They're living with us and we're loving it)
As part of our Labor Day celebrations, we decided to go up Mirror Lake Hwy (up in the Uintas) and visit one of my favorite places, Provo Falls. We made a day of it. Hiking, picnic, and water fun. Here are a few pictures from our excursion.....
This picture doesn't do it justice, it's beautiful, and farther down the falls are steeper.

too Chilly!
Care takers watching over us!!
Hopefully I can make a few entries here on this blog again before October. We'll see.
That looks like such a fun time!!
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, you guys are so much fun!!! What a great time. And I swear, only your family would be crazy enough to actually get in that freezing water and slide down rocks on your butts! And I LOVE that your mom was the one that started it.
ReplyDeleteYour family is awesome! (and we love Scott, too, I guess) ;)
I don't know what to do with all these posts! Read'em I guess. Love those action shots....classic. You guys are the ultimate FUN couple.
ReplyDeletehahaha I love it!! The pictures are so awesome! I don't think I have been bum sliding since Oakrest Girls camp. I was just talking about bum sliding two days ago with a friend at work. Such fun memories. Again, AWESOME pictures.
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm officially DYING over those "chilly" pictures. :) Thanks for the laugh. I love reading your blog. Fine--I'm a stalker. Deal with it.
