I know, I know, it's been waaaaaayyyy too long since I've made a post. My excuse; I play with my kids now more than I play on the computer. It's true! But I've also realized that I need to have some balance and so I've decided to finally get my digital scrapbooks going for the boys and so I guess that means finding time to put together a post or two on this here blog of mine. No sweat. So I guess I need to do a little catch up. I was going to post holiday pics and birthday pics but that was going to make this post way to long and so I decided to simplify and just post the recent stuff.
Christmas was fabulous. Santa brought a lot more than we realized but we all loved it. Awesome had an awesome Kung Fu Panda birthday party. Kelly and Andrew moved back home from "Sweet home" Alabama (I'm so freakin excited about that). Scott got a rockin new job with the state. H-bug celebrated his first birthday, can't believe how time just flies by. Scott turned 34 last week and March is now upon us. Right now as I'm typing Window World his here installing new windows in our home. Now that's like Christmas in my book! Anyway, things are great and we are all doing well, minus the colds we're fighting, but we really are great and feel so blessed.

Summer of fun part 4: The Harmon Family Reunion
This year for our Harmon family reunion we went up to the beautiful Heber Valley girls camp that is owned by the LDS church. It really is a wonderful facility and it was perfect for our reunion. We were able to enjoy the outdoors with the comforts of home. Everyone was there except for our beloved mom and grandma who is currently in Texas taking care of her sweet sister who is going through cancer treatments.
Everyone started arriving on Thursday Aug. 18th and we stayed and played till early evening Saturday Aug. 20th. From the pictures below you will see that there was a lot to do. We had a great time playing with cousins, visiting, hiking, and enjoying nature ... all that our Heavenly Father has to offer. We really had a great time.
This is the view of the cabins from the pavilion.
Another view of the cabins.
Inside the cabins. Awesome is inspecting our living quarters and he approves!
Thursday night was a get in, unpack, and get things settled kind of a night. Awesome was ready for bed.
The middle cabin became the "cousin" cabin. Not a lot of sleeping going on in there. I felt bad for Brett and Mindy who decided to sleep in there with all the kids.
Ahhhh, Friday morning. Everyone getting breakfast and ready for the full day ahead.
Our family was in charge of breakfast that first morning. Scott wrangled up some great french toast that everyone devoured. It was so delicious....
.... while Awesome and I finished up by doing the dishes. Awesome did a great job drying the dishes for me.
The fam eating our yummy breakfast.
Ty REALLY enjoying his french toast.
Mindy and B-man
Our assigned cups. We went green by making sure we drank from the same cups for each meal. It went well.
All the kids/cousins getting ready to take off on their pirate scavenger hunt.
looking for the clues that would get them closer to the "booty".
Everyone found their treasure!!! Thanks Glenn and Kristen, that was awesome.
Awesome enjoying his treasure!
C-bug looking through his new stick at Uncle Scott.
Getting ready for the challenge courses. They were wonderful and we really enjoyed doing them. Especially as a family.
Team work on a challenge course.
Ty lu-uvs the team work.
Just taking some time out to relax and enjoy.
some more fun pics of the challenge course...
....... challenge course. The kids loved these.
Me, getting my challenge course on!
and my descent on the zip line. Totally a blast!
Scott's turn...
...and Scott coming down.
Here he is pulling a sad face for me. When he's in front of the camera he can really turn on the emotion. Poor boy!
A scene from "skit" night.
Mike and Danielle's family in a canoe. (Scott's 3rd older brother )
Me, H-bug and Awesome enjoying our canoe ride thanks to dad and grandpa!
Awesome and his swollen eye.
Kim with C-bug and J-dude.
Jess and Mads
E and Brett. (Scott's oldest brother)

Dad and Awesome.
Brother's getting ready to help pull on our last challenge course of the trip. A 30 ft. swing.
From this pic you can kinda see how far up the swing goes. The kids really enjoyed this one.
Playing in the sand box while others went on the big swing.
Awesome was brave enough to want to try out the big swing.
And here he goes....
... climbing up the ladder to the launching platform...
.... getting instructions on what to do....
.... holding on to the rope as he's pulled up...
... and breaking loose! What a brave kid!
Victory smile!
H-bug just sitting back and watching.
The whole fam.
Our last post: Our summer of fun part 5: Wrapping it up! My goal is to get my last post in before Sep. 23rd, the first day of FALL.... can you believe it! Sheesh.
